I was surfing cozycot today and chanced upon this topic called “Blemish Cream”. Apparently, this little star is gaining popularity all over Korea and Taiwan. It began its history as a recovery cream used by patients who underwent surgery. The cream acts like a foundation that protects the skin from pollutants and the sun, while at the same time, has anti-aging properties, oil control and still supply moisture. Many Korea stars achieve flawless skin with the help of this cream. Sounds like a miracle. So I did a little homework and saw the before & after pictures put up by bloggers from Taiwan and now im aching to try one!

BRTC Perfect BB: Medical brand, the one preferred by many Korean artistes, pinkish undertone, medium coverage, brighter skintone, some combi/dry skin complained its too matte, easy to blend, sheer-medium coverage, lasting and natural radiance, does not wear off, some users said their skin texture has improved; some commented their blemish has heal, makeup still fresh without blotting after 8 hours

DoDo: Bumps experienced by sensitive skin (contains mineral oil)

Dr Jart Black Label: Good coverage on scars & other imperfection, oil control, some whitening effect, SPF25

Hanskin Premium: SPF30, pretty thick texture, whiter application

Missha: Bumps experienced by sensitive skin (maybe because it contains mineral oil), chalky texture hard to blend, sheer-medium coverage, medium blendability, better oil control than Skinfood, cheapest

Skin79 Dermax: SPF15, smooth liquid texture, sheer-medium coverage, natural look, no fragrance, not as glowy compared to rest but still bright, skincare properties, nano tech for arbutin (whitening ingredient) to be absorbed, some users find skin appear better after removing, some users paired with it foundation as glow can be radiant

Skinfood Ginkgo: Makes skin healthier, shrink pores abit, glowy for dry skin, skin appear oilier (for oily skin type), bumps & itchiness experienced by sensitive skin, pimples experienced by oily skin, hard to blend, sheer coverage, shade #1 is yellow tone; #2 is pink tone, more suitable for normal skin

The Face Shop: Clogged pores, skin becomes coarser
