Note: Facing stress from tourists

Im currently doing research for this island coz this is my next trip! The best way to get to the island is to take a coach. It’ll take about 9-12 hours and cost S$83 (round trip) if you take Five Stars Coach VIP. VIP seating is their normal 26 person seating without the TV nor massage. It costs additional $50 to upgrade. There should be many coach agencies available. Transtar doesnt have good customer service but their rates are cheaper. Air travel is too expensive i.e. the round trip ticket alone costs S$600! The coach will take you all the way to Merdang Jetty of which most Redang hotel resort provides boat transfer to their resort. Im taking a 3D2N package which is quite standardised across all Redang resorts. It includes boat transfer, 3 snorkeling trips (marine conservation park), snorkeling equipment, 3 times a day meals and the room. Some resorts’ packages especially the lower end ones do not include the snorkeling equipment. Packages also dont include the RM5 conservation marine fee. The best hotel has to be Berjaya Redang. Very Bali-resort deco, clean, spacious, excellent view. Just type into Google search and you can find those pictures. Their beaches are excellent as well! Note the price tag though. I believe a normal 3D2N package costs more than S$400. An economic but still comfortable and stylish stay is Laguna Redang. Their 3D2N package is S$230 for the Deluxe Garden View room. Cheapest is the Standard room but it really is standard, although it is still the best standard room among other resorts (minus Berjaya Redang). It really is cheaper booking the coach and resort separately. DIY tour totals S$313 compared to Five Stars Tour S$398. Cost is all based on weekends! Plus its not hard to book the hotel online too!
